Emerging from my tiny fabric chrysalis on Caherdaniel beach in Kerry, I will soon be afloat in Murchu, my green dart-shaped kayak. I will be adding more mileage on my quest to circumnavigate our island home. Hot coffee, made in my mini cafetière, adds some luxury to a breakfast of high carbs.
