Vinyl Night at the Snug celebrates 500th birthday...Tuesdays in Skerries are officially home to the longest running Vinyl Record Night in Dublin, if not all Ireland. We stopped in to meet the host and a few of its biggest fans.THERE are a few things you might not know about Tuesday Vinyl Nights at the Snug. First off, the nights’ host, Dermot Cassidy—otherwise known in these parts simply as ‘De Rev’—isn’t just a DJ with a taste for the classics. He’s practically music royalty. He’s the brother of Ditch Cassidy, the Irish blues legend whose early savvy helped Thin Lizzy get signed with Decca.
