SKERRIES TOWN FC NEEDS OUR HELPAfter a long insurance dispute over structural issues caused by subsidence, Skerries Town FC secured a settlement that will help contribute towards their clubhouse returning to what it was, but they’re still approximately €100,000 short of what’s needed to complete the repairs and make it a clean and modern usable space which they hope can then be enjoyed by the wider community.Over 1,000 people participate in Skerries Town FC activities each week, from Kids Academy to senior ladies’ and men’s teams. A rejuvenated management committee is working hard to rebuild a clubhouse space that truly reflects the heart of the community and, they say, thanks to the generosity of friends of the club, they’ve made a strong start. But they’re stretched to the limit… They need YOU—members, parents, friends, and additional volunteers from the wider community—to help finish the job and achieve the Club's goals.
