Your job as a business development and Field sales representative is to identify and generate sales leads or future business opportunities. In your capacity as a key company ambassador, you will seek to win new business. You will be expected to manage these new accounts and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.
Tasks will include but are not limited to:
Keeping up to date with what is happening in the Irish market and identifying potential business opportunities
Following up new business opportunities and setting up appointments
Planning and preparing presentations where necessary
Communicating products and services to prospective clients
Negotiating new contracts
Maintaining new customer loyalty
Providing regular feedback on sales growth/opportunities. Feedback is to HQ in Galway albeit the role does not necessarily have to be based full time in Galway.
Travelling as necessary to potential clients (no overnights required)

Natural sales acumen and plenty of common sense
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
Professional outlook and approachable personality
Drive and ambition and quiet confidence
Understanding of financial targets
Excellent understanding of desktop and other software systems
Previous experience in a sales or similar role required.
Fluency in English written/Spoken desired.
