A key aim of our hospital recruitment plan is to facilitate the transition of European nurses to gain Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration. The NMC is the governing body for nurses in both the UK and the Isle of Man. As a hospital, our staff are committed to welcoming further overseas nurses to join our existing well-established and diverse workforce. We therefore welcome applications from nurses who have completed their education throughout European Union states. Our recruitment staff are available to guide non-NMC nursing registrants through the process of gaining NMC registration. Unfortunately, NMC rules currently prohibit us from recruiting overseas nurses who were educated outside of the European Economic Area, and do not currently hold NMC status.
