• Ensure all specifications, procedures, records and food safety management systems (HACCP) are appropriately maintained and managed.
• Conduct all food safety training and maintain associated records.
• Design and implement a comprehensive sampling plan.
• Ensure labelling adheres to all relevant legislation.
• Manage all complaints – trend analysis, corrective action and monthly reports.
• Management of audit schedules, internal and external.
• Promote food safety and hygiene within the company to the highest possible standards.
• Capable of growing with company and in time to take on more responsibility, including leading projects
• Drive the company’s food safety management system forward to achieve the highest level of accreditation.
• Manage the approval of new suppliers and the validation of new systems, products & procedures.
• Conduct trend analysis on company data.
• Maintenance and verification of daily and weekly quality records.
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent report writing
• Attention to detail and ability to solve problems
